he revolver is a solid, all-metal frame made on CNC machines with a stainless steel (steel gray) finish. This gives the replica a respectable weight of 1.22 kg , which is almost as much as the real thing: 1.33 kg. The overall workmanship of the weapon is very high and makes a truly impressive impression.
The rubberized cartridge cases are also made of metal—an imitation of the Hogue® buckler manufacturer with the DW logo. Lifting the left butt plate provides access to the CO2 pump compartment . A clever touch is the Allen key integrated into the stock. Simply insert the pump, tilt the Allen screw, tighten the screw, engage the stem, and you're ready to shoot.
The trigger/lock is a double-action system , meaning a single pull of the trigger rotates the hammer, cocking the hammer and firing. For more accurate shooting, the hammer can be cocked separately and only the trigger pulled to fire. In this case, the trigger travel is significantly shorter and smoother, and the risk of the weapon "pulling" sideways when firing is reduced.
The hammer is made from a single piece of metal, which contributes to the revolver's overall solid feel. To change cartridges, simply press the safety catch in front of the cylinder and tilt the cylinder to one side. Of course, there's also a shell ejector, a rod on the cylinder axis that, when pressed, lifts the shells out of the cylinder.
Reloading is very easy and quick thanks to the included speedloader. Insert a round into each cartridge, slide the cartridge into the speedloader, press the speedloader mount, and turn it clockwise. This secures the cartridge so it won't fall out. Then, simply insert the cartridge into the cylinder and press lightly. The spring is released, and the magazine almost fires the cartridges into the cylinder.
The revolver has one of the few adjustable hop-ups. Adjustment is achieved with an Allen screw on the top frame of the revolver. Additionally, the rear sight is fully adjustable, both horizontally and vertically. You get a revolver that is one of the most accurate on the market.
At the bottom of the barrel there are 2 threads prepared to mount a weaver rail to mount a collimator, laser or flashlight.
For safety, there is a manual safety on the weapon, located just behind the hammer.
